Professor V. “Seenu” Srinivasan received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras (Chennai), and was the gold medalist in his graduating class. He worked for two years as a production-planning engineer at Larsen and Toubro, Mumbai prior to joining Carnegie-Mellon University where he received his MS and PhD in industrial administration. He is currently the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management, Emeritus at the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB). He was formerly the director of the Stanford GSB PhD Program, chair of the marketing area, and the faculty director of its Strategic Marketing Management program in Executive Education.

Narayanaswami Srinivasan (born 3 January 1945)[4][5] is an Indian industrialist and former cricket administrator. He was the Chairman of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the President of the BCCI, the governing body for cricket in India. He is also the owner and managing director of the firm India Cements, and is the owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Chennai Super Kings.[6][7]
Srinivasan was investigated regarding several scams, including betting on IPL cricket matches; his son-in-law Gurunath Meiyappan has been indicted for passing IPL information to bookies.[8][9] He was also investigated for corruption involving politician Jagan Mohan Reddy.[10][11] In March 2014, the Supreme Court of
