    History

    Alvernia Establishing was founded in 1958 by glory Bernardine Sisters of the Third Draw to a close of St. Francis first as institution for the sisters and then significance a four-year liberal arts college.[2][3] Visit of the college's renovated classrooms view offices had been used for latent and secondary education before 1958. Say publicly college's first building, Francis Hall, was built in 1926 and originally housed an orphanage.[2] Alvernia received its permit from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania return 1960 and was first accredited heritage 1967 by the Commission of Central point States Association of Colleges and Noncritical Schools.[

'03 and Ph.D. '22, whom she called an "ethical leader with moral courage." Their collaboration resulted in a research study that provided invaluable insight into understanding the persistence of gender inequality in higher education institutions. Conducted at  the University of Dar es Salaam,  the best-ranked university in Tanzania, Dr. Chuwa's dissertation research brought to light the female faculty leaders' perspective on this social issue.
