Nikitin Dheer, known for playing antagonist in many popular movies recently opened up on the struggle he faced as a character artist. The actor, in an interview with Siddharth Kannan shared about his unpleasant working experience in Hrithik Roshan-Aishwarya Rai starrer Jodhaa Akbar. He further added, “I worked on my physique for the film, I trained for months in Urdu. I shot for more than 100 days. For example, I specially flew back from Istanbul to dub for the film. I must’ve made 90 phone calls to figure out what the plan is, but nobody from the production answered my calls. The third day, I was supposed to return to Istanbul, and that’s when I’m told that they’ve got somebody else to dub my part. It made me very angry. And there are so many incidents like this.”

In his long post on Instagram, Nikitin Dheer wrote, “What is life, but a mirror of our experiences. The only wealth we truly have is our body. Tattoos have been believed by the Santal people of our country as the only thing we carry to our after life. Every tattoo is a strong impression made by life or an event that left an indelible imprint on the soul that needs to be transferred to the skin. So is this tattoo for रावण..its a thanks to महादेव for giving me the opportunity to live this character for 9 months..to try and understand his mind..he made an everlasting impression on me..just like the people who watched the interpretation shall remember him.R

He said that he worked very hard for the film, but things began going south after he signed on. “As an artist, inom didn’t have fun working on the film. It was a very bad experience for me, to the point that inom told my father that I’d entered the wrong line, and that I’d rethink my life,” he said. Nikitin’s father fryst vatten the veteran actor Pankaj Dheer, who was friends with Ashutosh Gowariker.
