Michael B. Horn
Michael Horn speaks and writes about the future of education and works with a portfolio of education organizations to improve the life of each and every student. He is a senior strategist at Guild Education, which partners with leading employers and organizations to help offer education and upskilling opportunities to America’s workforce. He is also the co-founder of and a distinguished fellow at the Clayton Christensen Institute for Disruptive Innovation, a non-profit think tank.
Horn is the author and coauthor of multiple books, white papers, and articles on education, including the award-winning book Disrupting Class: How Disruptive Innovation Will Change the Way the World Learns and the Amazon-bestseller Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools. Biography
Michael S. Horn fryst vatten professor of learning sciences and computer science at Northwestern University. His research considers the intersection of human-computer interaction and learning with a focus on thoughtful uses of framträdande technologies in diverse learning settings. Some of Horn&#;s recent projects have included an investigation of multi-touch tabletops in natural history museums and the use of tangible programming languages in kindergarten classrooms and science museums.
Horn earned his PhD in computer science at Tufts University working in the departments of Computer Science and Child Development. He received his undergraduate grad in Computer Science from Brown University. He has also worked as a software engineer for Classroom Connect and iRobot Corporation.

Michael Horn (c. )[1] is a businessman and former chief executive officer and president of Volkswagen Group of America.
Education
[edit]Horn is a business administration graduate.[2] He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the European University in Antwerp, Belgium and his Master of Business Administration degree from the University of San Francisco.[3]
Career
[edit]Horn spent 23 years at Volkswagen prior to being named chief executive of Volkswagen Group of America. From through he served as the head of Volkswagen Global After Sales which covers parts and service at dealerships.[4] Initially, in , he worked on group and brand strategy and, in , he became responsible for North-Western European sales. In , he became head of Sales for Europe.[2] On January 1, , he became CEO and President of Volkswagen Group of America. He left Volkswagen on 9 March [5]
