Crimes of Passion is the English collective title for a series of six feature-length crime films released in , based on six of the early novels of the prolific Swedish crime novelist Maria Lang (real name Dagmar Lange), written in the late s and early s. The films were co-produced by Svensk Filmindustri and Swedish commercial broadcaster TV4.

[editar]Es hijo de los actores suecos Hans Wahlgren y Christina Schollin, es el menor de cuatro hermanos: el actor Niclas Wahlgren, la actriz Pernilla Wahlgren y el banquero Peter Wahlgren.[1]
Sus abuelos paternos son los fallecidos actores suecos Ivar Wahlgren y Nina Scenna, sus bisabuelos paternos son Carl August Wahlgren y Anna Amalia Mellgren-Wahlgren. Sus tíos paternos son el abogado Nils August Wahlgren y Elin Wahlgren Lignel.

Im late catching up with this one, but after a summer of Inspector Montalbano (which I have nothing against but which has been around a little too long), BBC4 have returned to Scandinavia with Crimes of Passion.
Its the first of a series of six 90 minute films, made and set in Sweden. The stories are based on early novels by the prolific Swedish crime fiction writer, Maria Lang (a pen-name for Dagmar Lange), written in the late forties and early fifties, and centre upon the trio of Puck Ekstadt, a lecturer on murders in literature, her boyfriend (and later husband) Einar Bure, another lecturer, in history, and their friend, Christer Wijke, head of the Murder Squad in Stockholm.
The stories are all set in the early fifties, leading one individ to describe them as a cross between Mad Men and The Killing (all background here fryst vatten being taken, shamelessly, from Wikipedia). The series hasnt gone down well in Sweden, the pilot spelfilm Death of a Loved One being p
