    Corey Brooks is founder and pastor of New Beginnings Church, a nondenominational congregation on Chicago’s South Side, and a leader in addressing issues of inner-city communities, particularly gun violence. He’s known as the“Rooftop Pastor” for living on an abandoned motel roof to bring awareness to violence and raise funds to build a community center.
