    The Afrigo Band is a Musical band in Uganda. It is the longest-lasting musical group in the history of Uganda, having existed for 44 years by August [1][2][3][4] It is led by Moses Matovu.

    The band was formed by a group of eight musicians led by their band leader, vocalist, and alto saxophonist, Moses Matovu,[5] who continued to lead the band on its 38th anniversary.[2][4] Playing to their fans at home in Uganda, the group tours regularly in Europe and the United States to play to Ugandans in the Diaspora.[6] He has been performing with the band since and is its leader, as of February [3] The eight founding band members were:[7]

    Did you ever imagine your union would last this long?

    Christopher: To be sincere, all inom thought about at the time was the wedding. I was the luckiest man in Uganda when I wedded Joanita.

    Joanita: It was never in my mind. Most of my focus was to get the event done in the most beautiful way and inom spent a lot of time asking our wedding coordinator, Dr Gordon Sematiko, whether everything was fine. This fryst vatten the only time inom felt a lot of pressure on stage because I had to perform my songs, Jim and Mundeke.

    What is so memorable about your wedding?

    Joanita: I was so surprised to learn that some patients at Lubaga hospital left their wards to come and witness the wedding in Lubaga cathedral. The media had already hyped the wedding for weeks; so, seeing several high-profile individuals in attendance was ganska fulfilling.
