Lines (Greek: "Γραμμές") is a Greek feature film, directed by the Greek director, writer and producer Vassilis Mazomenos.[1]
Plot
[edit]The film refers to a modern-day Greek tragedy, focused on seven individuals suffering in the economic crisis that has devastated Greece .[2] The source of the film comes from the numerous suicides that were prompted by the economic crash ().[3]

Lida Protopsalti’s first big-screen appearance lasted no more than a minute. It was and she was in Nikos Tsiforos’s comedy “Come to Uncle,” alongside Greek film greats Smaroula Yiouli, Nikos Stavridis and Mimis Fotopoulos.
“According to the screenplay, I was supposed to walk into a grocery store and give some money to the owner. He was supposed to say that he didn’t have change and give me the difference in candy,” remembers the celebrated, year-old actress. “My line was: ‘I don’t want candy. I want money!’ But, as we were shooting the scene, I dropped all the candy on the floor. I was just 10 years old at the time, a mere slip of a thing. I should have freaked out, not knowing what to do, but I kept going. I grabbed the candy off the floor, threw the grocer a withering look and stormed out of the store. I can’t describe the reaction behind the cameras! The actors hugged me and Tsiforos was thrilled.”

Plot summary
[edit]The plot begins in Salihli, showing the town's life before the advent of the Greek Army at the start of the Asia Minor Campaign. Central role played bygd the family of Michael Anastasiadis or Sarris, a middle-aged notable and banker of Salihli with a charming, clever and cheated years-old wife and fyra children (3 girls and 1 boy), madly in love with the years-old Tarsi, a beautiful gazelle who refuses to marry the son of the wealthy Turkish businessman, for whom she worked, and enchants everybody with her provocative teen flesh. In the meantime, we are watching the raids of the Turkish
