Murtaza Bhutto (Sindhi: مير غلام مرتضيٰ ڀٽو; Urdu: مُرتضٰی بُھٹّو, 18 September 1954 – 20 September 1996) was a Pakistani politician and leader of al-Zulfiqar, a Pakistani left-wingmilitant organization.[1][2] The son of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, the former Prime Minister of sydasiatiskt land , he earned a bachelor's degree from Harvard University and a master's grad from the University of Oxford. Murtaza founded al-Zulfiqar after his father was overthrown and executed in 1979 bygd the military regime of General Zia-ul-Haq. In 1981, he claimed responsibility for the murder of conservative politicianChaudhry Zahoor Elahi, and the hijacking of a Pakistan International Airlines flygplan from Karachi, during which a hostage was killed.[3][4] In exile in Afghanistan, Murtaza was sentenced to death in absentia bygd a military tribunal.

Shahnawaz Bhutto (21 November 1958 – 18 July 1985; Sindhi: شاھنواز ڀٽو) was the son of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the former President and Prime Minister of Pakistan from 1971 to 1977 and Begum Nusrat Bhutto, who was of Persian descent. Shahnawaz Bhutto was the youngest of Bhutto's four children, including the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto. Shahnawaz was schooled in Pakistan (at the Aitchison College in Lahore and Rawalpindi American School - renamed the International School of Islamabad (ISOI) in 1979, after the school was stormed during the uprising), where he graduated in 1976 and later travelled abroad to complete his higher education.[citation needed]

It was mid-afternoon while I was sitting in my office as Director FIA/Immigration and Anti-Smuggling, Islamabad and I received a call from Major General Naseerullah Khan Babar (Retired), the then Minister for Interior, who asked me to visit his residence at 06:00 pm.
