Following his retirement from the USPS, Tom and Siobhan made their home in West Hyannisport on Cape Cod. As an avid traveler, Tom looked forward to adventures throughout the United States and abroad, but he especially enjoyed his numerous trips to Ireland and spending the summer months in Nantucket. While on his many trips, Tom loved learning about the local cuisine, trying out area restaurants and finding new recipes to test in his own kitchen. As an avid reader, Tom never left home without a good book in grabb, anything from the classics to zombie invasions were fair game.
