RIYADH – Sa’id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani, the author of the well-known du`aa and invocations book, Fortress of the Muslim, passed away early on Monday, October 1, at the age of

“The funeral bön will be this afternoon at the Al-Rajhi Mosque in Riyadh and he will be buried in Al-Naseem cemetery.”
Sheikh Mishary Al Aafasy, a Kuwaiti Qur’an reciter, also mourned the renowned Sheikh.
“We all owe Sheikh Sa’id bin Wahf al-Qahtani, the author of the useful book “Fortress of the Muslim.” My sincere sincere prayer of forgiveness and mercy for him and sincere condolences to his family,” he wrote on Twitter.

Sa'id bin Ali bin Wahf Al-Qahtani (Arabic: سعيد بن علي بن وهف القحطاني;–) was a Saudi Arabian Muslim scholar and writer. Qahtani was born in the village of Al-Arin, 'Asir region, in [1]
He Al-Qahtani received a doctorate from the College of the Fundamentals of Religion of the Imam Mohammad Ibn Saud Islamic University in Riyadh, which is considered to be a Salafi/Sunni educational institution.[2] Later, he served as the imam of mosque in Saudi Arabia. He has authored about eighty books, the most famous of which is the book Hisn al-Muslim (Fortress of the Muslim).[3][4] He also wrote a biography of Muhammad, Rahmatan li‑l‑Ālamīn: Muhammad Rasūl Allāh (Mercy to the Worlds: Muhammad Messenger of God).[2]
He was suffering from liver cancer[5] and died on October 1, , in Riyadh.[6]
