    DESMOND LAZARO makes exquisite artworks that are alive to the sacred equations that govern the cosmos. By exploring disparate knowledge systems (science, mathematics, philosophy, law and lore), Lazaro’s work traces the upper reaches of human understanding. Represented by major commissions in Australia and India (where he splits his time), and England (the country of his birth), his major painting The Sea of Untold Stories II (2019) was recently acquired by the Art Gallery of New South Wales, Sydney.

      Fernando Lázaro, composer and pianist

      Spanish composer, pianist and also a graduate in Musicology of the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid (Spain). Member of the Association of Composers of Madrid,  institution that counts on the presence of recognised Spanish composers such as Cristóbal Halffter, Tomás Marco or Luis dem Pablo. He is the director and presenter of the radio programme 'La Hora Ricercata', in Clásica FM Radio (Spain). In this section, he analyses the world of contemporary music as he talks about the biography and the work of specific composers, in order to fight the prejudice of the audience towards this field of the classical music. 

      He has been the subject of an important homage that was celebrated in the main theater of his hometown in 2017; the local government gived recongnition to his promising career, counting on the presence of many famous artists of Spain. One of his next outstanding projects is

      Abstract

      Human Papilloma Virus (HPV), infecting millions of men and women every year, is one of the most common STDs causing high mortality and morbidity rates. This study aims to determine university students’ Human Papilloma Virus knowledge levels and the affecting factors. The descriptive and cross-sectional study was conducted with a sample of 369 students who were enrolled in the Turkish undergraduate and associate degree programs at a university in Northern Cyprus and met the research criteria. Data were collected through the Personal Information Form and the Human Papilloma Virus Knowledge Measure (HPV-KM). Of all the students 47.7% were aged 18-21 years, 50.1% were women, and only 1.1% had been vaccinated against HPV. The total mean score obtained from the HPV-KM was found 19.11±42.
